What are cell groups?

Definitely nothing to do with prison! They are called after the cells in all plants and animals, that produce growth. A church cell group is something that plans to keep on growing – new members are always welcome. When a group gets too big to meet in one house, it will split into two, and keep on growing further.

What do they do?

They help us look at what it means to live a Christian life, and to share our experiences with one another. The pattern of each meeting is something like this:
Welcome and time to chat to each other, sometimes about a particular fun subject.
Worship – anything including silent reflection, DVD images, thoughts on a Bible passage.
Discussion on some aspect of Christian living, referring to our own experiences and to the Bible passage.
Time for prayer, concern for others, thought on how we can reach out to them.

Would you like to join a cell group?

There are several groups meeting at the moment, each group has its individual style.
This is not a closed shop, nor does it need any special Bible knowledge. We learn from each other’s experience. If you are interested please contact us for more information
